You match if

Church Foundation grants or loans help congregations facing unexpected capital expenses; approximately $300,000 is the annual grant pool, not an individual award amount.

You’ll need

  • The next listed cutoff is November 20, 2026 for December consideration. Emergencies may be considered separately: mark the emergency field and call the Rev. Derrick Fetz at (513) 229-4618.
  • Our note: Gather quotes, assessment, training evidence, Vestry authorization and the financial documents before using the linked grant/loan application.
  • The form asks for cash available, other funding sources, total project cost and whether a loan could cover all or part of the project. Mission Share must be paid.

Watch for

  • Before applying, complete a building assessment, pay Mission Share and obtain three comparable quotes. The clergy/ecclesiastical authority plus a lay leader must complete an accepted congregational-development event; alternatives can be arranged if attendance is impossible before deadline.
  • Mission congregations need concurrence from Canon Meredith Day Hearn. The application requires a Vestry resolution and financial/investment statements.
  • Not confirmed: a minimum matching percentage, individual grant ceiling, inspection/training costs, application fee or eventual loan terms; a loan is distinct from a grant.
  • Official program page read in full as extracted text; scope limited to this page.
  • Full public application read, including cash sources, loan feasibility, Mission Share, Vestry resolution and financial attachments; no submission.
